Wednesdays (fortnightly) at 7.30pm
The ‘MS and work’ Peer Pod is for those who are living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and are still either employed or seeking support as they navigate changes in their work life. This can be in any profession.
Work life balance is important for everyone and working with a long-term health condition can be challenging. This pod aims to provide a space where people can connect for mutual support and encouragement, to share tips and strategies for coping well in the workplace and generally chat with others who understand.
If you are interested in joining this or any of our Peer Pods, or would like more information, please fill in our enquiry form by clicking the button. Vicky, our Peer Support Coordinator will be in touch with you shortly.
Hi, I’m Glenda and I live in Wiltshire with my husband and three teenagers (fondly known as the ‘threenagers’). I am a full-time wheelchair user, and full-time Head of Services for a local sight loss charity. I was diagnosed with RRMS a month after my daughter was born in 2006 and have had SPMS since 2019. After telling my MS-UK counsellor that I wanted to meet others who were still working, I swiftly found myself talking about an idea for a new peer pod – and well here I am!
I’m excited to meet you all!
