Accessible lipstick launch coming from L’OréalPublished: 05 January 2023 Beauty brand L’Oréal has unveiled a new technology prototype that will allow people with limited hand and arm mobility to easier access lipstick application. Aimed at anyone with limited fine motor skills – something that can be affected with multiple sclerosis (MS) – HAPTA will allow 360 degrees of rotation and 180 degrees of flexation when a lipstick is placed in a gimbal. There are still some tweaks being made and the company says the product will launch with the Lancôme brand this year, although this is likely to be in December.
