If you’re looking for ways to occupy your children, especially in the school holidays, then fundraising for MS-UK is a fantastic idea!
Fundraising is a great way to motivate your children to do something positive and creates a real sense of achievement when the challenge or task is completed! What’s even better is that they will be helping others and making a real difference to those affected by multiple sclerosis (MS).
We’ve come up with some ways that you can entertain or keep your little ones busy, and at the same time raise crucial funds for MS-UK. Feel free to come up with your own ideas; we’d love to hear how inventive you could be!
Get in the garden
Why not start a flower or vegetable growing competition? Set up a JustGiving page or a Facebook fundraiser and ask your friends and family to guess how big the vegetables will grow for sponsorship.
Fitness
Challenge your mini soldiers to a boot camp style fitness challenge. This could be a homemade assault course in your garden, or a fitness challenge in your front room (star jumps, bunny hops…) Get them to video themselves to complete it and challenge their friends to do it too – don’t forget to ask for a donation to MS-UK!
Quiz time
Design a quiz, crossword, word search or even create a picture to be coloured in. Send it over to your friends and challenge them to complete it, ask for a donation for taking part and then ask them to make you one in return!
