Therapy-based self-help

Living Life to The Full (LLTTF) is a website and suite of CBT self-help tools that have been developed by Dr Chris Williams (Emeritus Professor of Psychosocial Psychiatry at the University of Glasgow), whose main clinical and research interest is self-help approaches based on CBT. The tools aim to support a range of different client groups, for example the CBT techniques can be used to help with pregnancy and new parenting issues, dental anxiety, unpaid carers and for people living with long-term conditions. The course aimed at people with long-term conditions (such as multiple sclerosis. MS) is called reclaim your life. The core modules are free and there are additional modules that can be purchased. These tools are used across many clinical practices and throughout the NHS.

The Scottish NHS inform website has good self-help guides for people experiencing poor mental health. Their guides cover chronic pain, sleep and insomnia, anxiety, depression, and bereavement.
