Disability Premiums

If you have multiple sclerosis (MS) and receive disability-related benefits such as Personal Independence Payment (PIP), Adult Disability Payment (ADP) or Attendance Allowance (AA), you may be eligible for disability premiums. These are extra amounts of money that are added to other benefits including

  • Income Support
  • Income based Jobseeker’s Allowance (JSA)
  • Income related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Housing Benefit

There are three types of disability premium

  • Disability premium
  • Enhanced disability premium
  • Severe disability premium

More than one premium can be paid at a time.

Payments are usually added automatically, so you do not need to apply.
