Community Champions

We would love to welcome you to join MS-UK’s volunteer fundraising group and to become an MS-UK Community Champion!

We are seeking volunteers who are passionate about our work to support people affected by multiple sclerosis (MS), with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to deal with the general public in a professional manner.

Our Community Champions are such valuable assets to MS-UK.

What’s involved?

As a Community Champion, you can volunteer as much or little time as you like! We will discuss responsibilities on an individual basis, below are some examples of the roles our current Community Champions undertake for us

• Seeking locations for potential venues to hold MS-UK literature, information or collection tins and managing these
• Building and maintaining relationships with venues to potentially support MS-UK
• Counting and paying in funds from collection pots to MS-UK
• Attending events in your local area to represent MS-UK
• Presenting certificates or awards to fundraisers in your local area

In return we will support you every step of the way to have an amazing volunteering experience. You’ll get a full induction, support and training, and we will reimburse agreed out-of-pocket expenses.
