Yoga course eased fatigue and anxiety

People with multiple sclerosis (MS) who took part in a six-week programme which combined group discussions about resilience with yoga saw significant improvements in fatigue and anxiety according to a recent study.

The course was called LoveYourBrain yoga and was developed originally for people with traumatic brain injury back in 2014. There were weekly sessions with breathing exercises, meditation, yoga, and discussions which aimed at building resilience and recovering quickly from setbacks.

The participants reported the course provided many benefits including deep levels of relaxation, learning skills for managing well-being and stressful situations, experiencing community connections, and enhancing self-awareness.
