New study looking for participants with multiple sclerosis

Researchers are looking for people who found it difficult to return to work or school after receiving a diagnosis of multiple sclerosis (MS) or Covid-19 to take part in a survey to gather data on the health of those with the conditions.

To take part, you need to have been employed, in school, or doing charitable work on March 01, 2020.

University of Nottingham researchers, who are conducting the study, say that both MS and long Covid-19, which is the name for the condition when people suffer long-term symptoms after the original infection has gone, involve gradual recovery periods. You do not need to have had Covid-19 to participate if you have MS.

If you take part, you’ll be asked to complete an online survey, and will have the option to have a follow-up telephone interview. After completing the first survey, participants may enter to win one of two £50 vouchers in a prize drawing to be held on 01 Dec. Those who take part in the telephone interview will receive £15. You will receive a second survey after 16 weeks.
