Join exercise specialist Alan Pearson for the latest session in our masterclass series, core strength and movement for MS. This online masterclass is the foundation for the work we will continue to build on over the next two months of our weekly exercise classes.

This session introduces key principles of efficient, supported movement, with a focus on developing strength, control, and stability. These foundations are essential for improving everyday activities such as standing, walking, posture, and general mobility, and they form the starting point for the progression of exercises we will explore in the upcoming weekly programme.

We will also look at how improved movement efficiency can help reduce physical effort and support better energy management throughout the day, particularly for people living with MS. Strengthening and coordinating these supporting muscle groups can make movement feel more fluid and less demanding over time.

Alan will take you through practical breathing work, simple movement checks, and adaptable exercise options, with modifications and progressions provided so that all abilities can participate comfortably and safely.
