Have you ever heard of our Peer Pods and wondered what exactly they’re all about?
Perhaps you’ve even expressed interest by completing an enquiry form but for whatever reason haven’t yet taken the next step and joined a pod?
If this sounds like you, our Peer Support Coordinator Vicky would love to invite you to join her for a relaxed and informal session where she will explain how the Peer Pods run, our experience of them so far, and what you can expect when you attend.
We understand how daunting the idea of joining a group of new people for the first time can be, whether online or in person, so this will be a great opportunity for you to ask questions or discuss any concerns you may have.
You will also meet some of the volunteers who host our pods, which we hope will put you at ease and give you the reassurance that there will be a familiar and friendly face to welcome you when you join for the first time.
Our Peer Pods are a valuable source of emotional and often practical support, and there is so much to be gained by reaching out. This is your chance to explore how Peer Pods can open the door to meaningful connections, empowering conversations, and shared experiences with others who truly understand life with MS.
We really hope that by the end of this engaging session you will be feeling much less apprehensive and ready to embrace all the benefits that peer support can bring to you.
