kids fundraising stories

Meet our tiny fundraiser!

Beauden’s Dad Martyn is running the marathon for us this October and when he found out Dad was running The London Marathon he just had to be a part of the fundraising journey.

He has recently ran a 1km race against some kids aged between four and seven year old (of which he was the youngest). He trained hard for about two months and was super excited to run for MS-UK. He asked all his friends at pre-school, family and grown-up friends to sponsor him.

He ran the 1km up and down the hill at Burrator Reservoir on Dartmoor in Devon. He unfortunately took a tumble at one point but jumped up and carried on giving it his all. “The joy, pride and sense of achievement was amazing to see in a child so young,” says Martyn. “He hasn’t stopped talking about it and is planning his next run for next year.”

Martyn and his wife are both extremely proud parents and MS-UK have gained a fundraiser for life!
